Before there were books and movies, there were legends and myths. With powerful heroes, compelling arcs and, most importantly, fascinating and sometimes deadly beasts, these were the stories that our ancestors spread and preserved as a representation of their hopes, dreams, and fears. More than anything else, the beasts that they imagined can tell us something about their culture.
