In 2015, Tutoring for Excellence conducted a study of tertiary education movements from 2001 to 2015. The study was based on data gathered from government and privately conducted surveys, as well as bureau of statistics and showed that the biggest industries affected over the 15 year period was the Health Care industry and Information Technology.

Surprisingly, the IT sector recorded a decline in employment opportunities, while the Health Care sector continued to see an stable increase in both employment and tertiary education opportunities.

The study outlines interesting movements in other industries such as food and hospitality, architecture and building as well as education, all very important statistics to consider when exploring your future career moves and/or higher education preferences.
