Enterprise request management (ERM) is a business process improvement approach that provides employees within large companies or government agencies with a single portal from which to request anything they need to do their jobs–from a stapler or a conference room reservation to a new desk chair or replacement of the hard drive in their laptop. It’s like having a version of Amazon.com within the enterprise.
