You’re a small business owner who is expanding. Congratulations. Growing your small business is a long and sometimes never-ending journey. Each journey begins with a single step and to help small business owners out there the UK based firm, Simply Business, has put together this easy to use, step-by-step guide on Hiring Your First Employee.

Simply Business is from the UK and some of the talking points on this graphic are UK focused, but many of the other points are universal, no matter where your business is built.

The graphic is clickable and links out to handy guides and tips. Click HERE to launch the interactive graphic.

This infographic hits close to home. A close friend owns a snowboard shop, but running a retail brink & mortar for 20 years didn’t prepare my colleague for the task of creating a job description, evaluating, and hiring for a role he had basically no experience with.  Several of the talking points of the IG point out great articles. The first links out to a post on Inc.com that breaks down the steps to getting job requirements and qualifications down on paper which was a huge step in the right direction.
