Paper or plastic? Remember when your grocery clerks used to ask that question prior to bagging up your groceries? Nowadays, plastic is the norm. In fact, did you know that about 5 trillion plastic bags are produced each and every year? How about the fact that on average a plastic bag is only used for 20 minutes before it is thrown away?
