Wind turbines in Minnesota have produced over one billion kilowatt-watts of energy.  A traditional coal-fired plant producing that much energy would have the emissions of 163,000 cars running for a year – or a bumper-to-bumper traffic jam from Minneapolis to Milwuakee. This infographic from Xcel Energy helps to put 1Bn kWh of energy into perspective.
