There are many ways in which the U.S. healthcare system is broken. For instance, around 20 percent of patients will encounter some form of malpractice in their lifetime. Also, around 18 percent of hospital patients suffer injury during the course of their stay. These numbers are unusually high for such a “developed” country as America.
