AmericanEHR recently conducted a survey, “Mobile Usage in the Medical Space”, to better understand health practitioners’ usage of mobile technology. The survey helps address questions such as: how many physicians are using mobile technology, what smartphone brands they prefer, what features they use and how often they use them?

Data was collected from 702 verified physicians within the US between October 10, 2012 and December 8, 2012 to produce the full report. Contents include an in-depth analysis on the frequency of different smartphone activities carried out for both personal and clinical purposes.

The report also focuses on the frequency of other common technologies utilized within the practice. This infographic illustrates key insights from AmericanEHR’s mobile study.
