As 2015 comes to a close, it’s time to take stock of who dominated the EDM scene this year. Once strictly reserved for raves and clubs, electronic dance music is quickly gaining respect as an accessible and popular genre. In most cases, the top DJs put in the most work both in the studio and on the road. With DJ software and equipment widely available to the masses, new and talented young DJs pop up constantly with fresh tracks and hypnotic beats.
Galavantier, an online Las Vegas travel company, referenced DJ Mag’s recently released Top 100 DJs List in their findings below, and to no one’s surprise, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Tiesto, Skrillex and Steve Aoki are all at the top of the list for highest paid DJs of 2015. These big names easily pull in millions at top clubs like Avalon Hollywood, Pacha and Exchange LA. Other notable names in the top ten include Martin Garrix, Afrojack and Avicii.
