Where are the shark attack hot spots in the US? Here is a visual map from SIYachts.com that lays out where attacks have occurred down to the county from 2011 to 2020. It also shows the percentage of attacks that were provoked or unprovoked.
Along with county rankings this data map red flags all fatal attacks that have happened. The graphic also goes onto show the percentage you have as a human to be killed by a shark verses other items like beds, bees, deer and lighting.
