In 2021, YouTuber MrBeast earned an estimated $54 Million – the highest in YouTube history and matches Forbes’ top 54th earning celebrities of 2021 Vin Diesel. MrBeast is predicted to grow more as a brand as more companies are looking to shift to digital content by sponsoring content creators like him.
Aside from recorded videos, live streamed videos are also becoming a popular medium for these Internet celebrities. The top live streaming platform, Twitch, had a data leak in 2021. As a result, the earnings of their streamers were made public. The top earning streamer reportedly got $9.6 Million in 2021 from subscriptions, Bits, and Ads alone.
