The film industry is extremely profitable and some of the people who take home a huge chunk of those profits are the actors who perform in them.

The highest grossing actor overall was Samuel L. Jackson, who has starred in many iconic films like Avengers movies, Star Wars films, and Pulp Fiction. The actor’s films have grossed over $14 billion at the box office. He’s followed by another Marvel star at #2, Scarlett Johansson. Scarlett Johansson is also a household name recognizable from films like Avengers, Lost in Translation, and The Prestige.
