A new study from Madison Trust Company shows the countries with the highest minimum wages and the most considerable minimum wage increases in recent years. Studies show that the countries with a higher minimum wage requirement have happier citizens.
The team’s data shows that the countries with the highest minimum wages include Australia, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom. By no coincidence, residents in Australia and Luxembourg are among the happiest in the world.
Among the lowest minimum wage offerings are Venezuela, Sudan, and Georgia. National, regional, state, industry-specific, and age/experience laws can all dictate minimum wage requirements.
