It’s the easiest way to get an example of how to build out your own family tree.
Start at the “self” marking and follow the paths to understand how generations are delineated. You’ll see that the best way to describe a great-great-great-great-great grandparent is to call them a “5th great grandparent”, certainly a more convenient term.
