The research is clear: playing sports is good for kids. It enriches their lives in so many ways, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.  Things like grades, confidence, self-esteem and overall health are all likely to go up when kids participate in sports. Anecdotally, we hear stories from people from all walks of life — athletes, coaches, CEO’s, doctors, teachers, parents — who credit youth sports for providing them with indispensable lessons and setting them up for success later in life.
