Infographics are all the rage these days. The good news is that more and more businesses are waking up and seeing the benefits that good infographics can have on their marketing efforts as well as branding visibility. Unfortunately, the infographic market has become saturated with, how do I say this… bad infographics. In fact some are just downright crap!

They are either aesthetic nightmares (they are really ugly), un-resourceful (of no use), really boring (subject matter no one cares about) or not an infographic at all but rather more akin to a brochure or bullet list with some graphics. These are the ones that get ignored, are not shared socially and in all reality, can hurt your brand rather than help it.

Because we accept free submission of infographics here, I come across many of these bad infographics on a daily basis. In fact if you are reading this and have submitted an infographic in the past but have never seen it posted here, it is probably because it sucked. Sorry to put it to you that way but truth is truth. That is why I really enjoyed the following infographic entitled “How a Bad Infographic Can Ruin Your Business” designed by Infographic Design Team.
