New research from Ooma shows the risks of loneliness in seniors, the warning signs, and the power of a simple phone call to reduce depression. The data is a sobering reminder of the cost of distancing ourselves from our older loved ones as 1 in 3 adults who are 50 or older report feeling isolated.

When we consider that loneliness greatly increases risks of stroke, dementia, heart failure, and other serious ailments, it’s clear that we can’t overlook this health crisis.
