This infographic from Digital Guardian visualizes how the risk of classified data loss for companies has risen dramatically since after many companies were forced to adopt a ‘Work from Home’ model after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a global pandemic on March 11.

The data for the infographic was pulled from the recently published DG Data Trends Report. Unlike other research based on survey data, this report examines data movement from nearly 200 organizations spanning the globe and across multiple industry verticals. These data sets enabled Digital Guardian to compare data movement patterns before and after the remote work transition took place and gauge its impact on the risk of sensitive data loss, now and in the future.
