Washington state leads the way with huge potential for entrepreneurial earnings: $144,941 on average, which is about $50,000 more annually than any other state. The team attributed these high earnings to Washington’s booming tech industry, with talent breaking off from mega-companies like Microsoft and Amazon to start their own businesses in a state with beneficial small business tax policies.
