In 2010 it was reported that 46.2 million people lived in poverty in the United States. However, many working American’s feel the poor are not doing enough to get themselves out of this rut. It’s clear that there is a poverty problem in America, yet not much seems to be being done to help. It is estimated that up to half a million children may be homeless. I don’t know about you, but I think that is absolutely absurd.
