The team at Speedway Motors shines the spotlight on a beloved American classic muscle car: the Ford Mustang. The Mustang debuted in the 1960s and remains popular today. Through the team’s graphics, we can not only see the changes in style and tech with each new release of the car, but we can also see how the price has changed.
To help us understand the changing prices, the team showed us both the price at the time of release and the price adjusted for inflation. In general, the price appears to increase by $10,000 every eight years or so.
Special releases of the vehicle and exciting new features can lead to price increases for select models. Today’s Mustang is the Dark Horse Premium, priced around $69,375.
