State troopers have distinctive style uniforms. We can identify them by their striped pants, shirt and tie, hat, badge, and patch.

But you might be most used to seeing the colors and style of the police in your home state. This infographic from Wizard Pins shows us each official uniform for every state and we find a variety of colors and symbols here.

Every state features different colors for stripes, fabrics, and ties. The biggest difference is in the design of the badge and patch. Many of the images are the same as the state flag, but others opted to design a unique symbol for police officers.

Some of the uniforms stand out with noticeable differences. For example, the Delaware State police have a winter and summer uniform with light pants in summer and navy-blue pants in winter. The same is true in Kentucky where gray pants are for summer use and charcoal gray for winter.
