Cambridge International’s first ever Global Perspectives survey discovered that many youths are concerned about the future of the planet. Of the more than 11,000 students aged 13 to 19 surveyed, 96% agreed that global issues should be addressed in school, and 39% of U.S. students believe that climate change is the most pressing issue confronting the world today.

Additionally, the NextGen Climate Survey by Blue Shield of California found that 83% of Gen Z youth are concerned about the health of the planet. So it’s no wonder that seeking out the most eco-friendly college campuses is a priority for many high school graduates. By choosing the most environmentally friendly universities, students can learn and live in harmony with their beliefs while pursuing innovative ways to protect the planet.
