Following a survey of their customers, Citybase Apartments have discovered that solo travelers are the most frequent city breakers, taking 6+ trips a year or more compared to families and couples who take on average between 2-3 trips a year. Men were found to favor computers and money as their top travel items with woman packing hair and beauty products and a camera before anything else. A mobile phone was voted the number one travel item by both men and women. The survey went on to discover the main reasons why serviced apartments were chosen as their preferred holiday accommodation over hotels, and what people spent their time doing whilst visiting the world’s biggest cities.
