Many people are under the assumption that Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a rare condition, however it actually affects around 1 in every 400 children born in the UK.  Although the majority of cases are caused by unfortunate circumstances arising during pregnancy, there are a small few avoidable instances of children being born with cerebral palsy because of the negligence of a medical professional.
