The team at PARequirements unveil a new map highlighting measles vaccinations, a significant public health concern. The team examined the number of kindergartners who received a measles vaccine in each state, compared to the total number of children, and showed us the percentage of children who aren’t up to date with their vaccines in each state.

The color-coding on the map indicates regional clusters of trends in vaccination rates. We can observe a lack of vaccination in the Midwest and Southwest, while high vaccination rates are present in the Northeast. Idaho, however, stands out with much higher rates of unvaccinated children than neighboring states.
