In the years since 2010, Ford Motor Company has issued 545 safety recalls. Though Ford did not rank at the top every year for most recalls, they have ranked first consecutively since 2021. Common issues in their vehicles involve powertrains, electrical systems, and airbags. Despite the high number of recalls, Ford has displayed a proactive approach to fixing these issues for their consumers.
