Property crime is defined as theft or unlawful damage to another’s property and possessions. Property crimes can include acts like burglary, larceny, motor vehicle theft, vandalism, and arson. Theft is one of the most common crimes in the U.S., with millions of incidents reported each year.
There are some areas where theft and other property crimes are more common than others. A new study from the team at Surveillance Video shows which U.S. cities experience the highest property crime rates.
